A special duty robot built by IRTA France. He comes loaded with a state-of-the-art AI manufactured by the American Bergen corporation. His nickname is Cain, which comes from his serial number, CN-7.
In addition to his combat functions, he is also capable of hacking enemy AI. The IRTA is using him as a test case to decide whether robots of his type should become standard issue for Rust Crew Spec Ops.
He is gentle in both demeanor and speech, and though he has been programmed with a sense of humor, his inability to properly read the tone of situations more often results in groans from the rest of the Rust Crew members.
He uses an automatic pistol and is shown to be a very agile robot during the meet up with Dan's team.
He is listed as a "Juggernaut" in his characteristics and this is shown during the underpass escape cutscene, where he headshots 3 Assault Shooters with amazing precision (likely due to his advanced optic cybernetics).
He is tactically effective as a squadmate, especially during the escape from the contaminated agriculture lab because he will be unaffected by the ozone gas decontaminate.
- During the arrest by Kurosawa, Amada hacks Cain using the original Amada Corporation code (which was stolen by Bergen). Amada uses the opportunity to make Cain first endure agonising torment during an upload of "the concept of suffering" then makes Cain betray Dan and point his machine pistol at Dan's head before saying "Bon soir, monsieur." and knocking Dan unconscious.
- Very High trust level for all teammates can result in Cain's return near the game's conclusion.
